They are all a bunch of good guys. I can understand their issues. Many of them are members here too. They may just be too protective, and heard a lot of it before. just like a small dive bar with the regulars, that take time to warm up to new people. Just think of it as a little bit of hazing to become a full member.

Forums are no different. I certainly don't feel very 'in' here; but granted I've only been collecting BR stuff for a while, and have had nothing important to contribute.
Heck I've been a member of the RPF for years now and I still don't completely feel I'm totally 'in' yet... |

got mine awhile back. One of my favorite props in my collection. Again, thanks to OB and everyone who was involved.

just a quick one to say the bottle arrived ... HOURS AFTER I LEFT FOR A WEEK-LONG WORK TRIP!!! yes, it was a very difficult week. when i got back, i picked up my precious cargo and headed home. stopping only for the (full) donor bottle.
its such a beautiful thing to behold, and though no photos this time (finishing up with work this week/i'm only taking a break to render video), i will post pix of my most prized possession shortly (once i can label and polish it while not being rushed).
i mostly wanted to chime in that yet another bottle had arrived and most of all - just one more sincere thank you to OB for seeing this through despite all obstacles. you are a quality guy Paul. and thanks to all who had a hand in this - the extras and details are par excellence! I feel quite lucky to be a part of this. the BR community has reset the bar to be sure. _________________ two legs bad, four legs good. |

Yeah Paul deserves serious kudos for pulling this off. There's little that can stand up to the experience of pouring a double from this bottle into a cibi while chilling to some Vangelis. _________________

I think we have a good group all together here Because we are such a small group compared to the RPF, I think it can make things better.
As the old saying goes, quality over quantity. You are all quality in my book

The bottle arrived, but I didn't get around to capping it for about a month (my friends had to drink a bottle of vodka for me)!
One thing I've noticed is that all of the prop displays in this thread would look incomplete without the JW bottle towering like the Tyrell building.

Bonsoir Paul,
I've found this ad in an old issue of KILL magazine, hope you'll like it ! (Yeah, I read KILL from time to time... and KROTCH, too... So WHAT ?!!)

I wish I had thought of that...the badge I purchased came from Europe and say's NEOCRON POLICE at the bottom.
I thought I could change it myself but it turned out to be too detailed a task. |

The badge set was fan-made a few years back, before recent discoveries with WorldCon, Final Cut DVD set, etc. The badge itself was farmed out to a badge manufacturer and was commercially made. |

Got it last week. Been too busy to thank. So thanks OB!! My most precious BR item this far. Love to keep it on my hands and just stare it...
Haven't yet placed the labels, just washed it once to get it ready to be filled with black label Johnnie stuff. |

Well ... here's me. I think we have all found a way to thank OB in our own way for such a monumental undertaking. I was trying to think of something clever to say but realized that this is a clever group so I would have a hard time. I did however think of something that made me smile...
Watching Dangerous Days and hearing all of the stories of why this film should NOT have ever made it to the screen make it somehow that much better...
If the bottle had just arrived without the endless searches, the relentless attention to details and specs, and over half of the lot lost in shipping ... well we might not hold onto these special little creations like we do now that they are in (most) of our hands ... right?
So here's to the ups and downs, the heartbreak, and the truth behind anything worth having is worth waiting for, and most of all to Paul and the rest of the gang that chipped in. My Cibo has never been filled this high - but if there was ever a reason, I think this is it.
Thanks again Paul - with great respect.
