If the metallic thing doesn't work out you could try black light ink.
Someone on the Aliens forum did some money that had a log that would show up under black light.

Also helps IDing the fakes. Wink

In fact some of the larger bills like $100 have florescent images on them as well as all the other safety features.

sounds cool in a functional way, but I wanted to go for something that would stand out more visualy like the shiney sparkly foil Cool

so second time lucky, the alignment is still not perfect but alot better than last time. the back print is slightly too far to the right, but overall doesn't look too bad.

I done these as a set of four. each note is unique with its own serial number. each serial represents an explanation to deckards existance Wink

inside deck's wallet

well, there were designs for fives and tens, enough to get him a number 4 and noodles! as well as a whole bottle of tsingtao Very Happy but the layouts for those didnt work so well as the one dollar layout, so I figured this would be pocket change from the end of the day. guess that makes it post blade runner Wink

Hey, cool work!

It's good to see someone give the money a go.

Was this based on Japanese WWII invasion money? Judging from your description, that's my best guess.

I like the look, too. It reminds me of some Chinese currency from before WWII.

And I came to the same conclusion you did: it has to be dollars, in name, anyway.

Good luck Smile

Those look great. I'd love to get a set as well.
As for the number of bills- I'm guessing almost all payments would be done via plastic in 2019...
BTW what Kanji characters did you use for the red type on the front of your apartment card?
Is it a graphic from the Blade Runner sketchbook? That's where I found most of the japanese text for the police id back.
