It would be good to establish the level of accuracy the group reqiures of the arm. The technology as seen in the movie would of course be ideal
but would the cost and availability of the parts required be prohibitive?

In display terms, the whole automated arm movement is kinda a one shot deal. Once its gone through its range of movement it just sits there.
A possible "dumbed down" alternative might suit some people, using something based on the good old "rabbit ears" tv antenna.
Pull it out, twist the top and turn it on. Any thoughts?
