Following the screening we host a panel discussion with special guests, including the producer of Blade Runner, Michael Deeley, and writers Will Brooker and Paul M Sammon.
might be a good oportunity to ask them what the heck happened to all the props!
There is also a q&a with Rutger Hauer after the actual movie screening. Might get to meet them all at the after drinks, so should think of a prop for him to sign Roy Batty
though hope it hasn't sold out allready! these events usually do _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford

It's already sold out although there is the Paul M Sammon interview earlier in the day that has a few seats left.

just got back from this and what can I say... it was fantastic!
First up we watched a big screen presentation of On the Edge of Blade Runner I look over a few feet next to me and Michael Deeley's sitting there! was funny to hear him reacting to some of Yorkins comments
Then him and Paul Sammon sat on stage and discussed the movie. lots of great stories and experiences talked about here, some never discussed in any of the interviews I've seen which was really refreshing. all together very informative.
following was a high definition screening of the Final Cut, then afterwards Paul Sammon interviewing Rutger Hauer. It was amazing to see Batty in the flesh! even better I got to meet him and get him to sign a really nice print of an excellent painting I found on the net. I asked him to sign it "Roy Batty" which I thought would make a nice change.
As for the Ridley Scott interview I missed a chance to get tickets the first time. but as we were loitering outside the hall the co-ordinator said there were a few canceled tickets left and my final treat was sitting only a few meters away from the man himself talking on stage!! We watched clips of Alien and Gladiator which is mad when the director is sitting infront watching it with you!
All in all a great day (9 hours!) and all for £14, well worth it _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |

no no, not that geeky!
I didn't get any good shots with my camera, though I'm sure lots will turn up on flickr in the next few days.
ridleyville: did you get to talk to Sammon? apparently he was pondering in the shop during the rutger signing. if only I knew at the time it would have been great to have a talk with him. got alot of geeky prop questions I wanted him to answer
I thought they were gonna bring out harrison ford at the end lol! the way they bigged up the "special treat" _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |

I actually saw Michael Deeley and Paul Sammon in the restaurant of the BFI shortly before the start. I don't normally like to interupt people in their private moments but was worried that i might miss the opportunity to get my early Dangereous Days script autographed by Mr Deeley.
I asked mr Deeley if he would not mind signing the script and he was amazed that it was an early version before Brighton Productions were formed, but even more exciting Paul Sammon was really interested in the copy i had as well.
During the signing i did chat with Paul Sammon and he signed a copy of Future Noir for me, i asked him to sign it to "ridleyville" and to my great excitment said he had visited my website, well that made a great day perfect for me. _________________ More human than human |

man that sounds like an experience and a half! always worth asking in awkward moments as you said you may never get the chance again and you were pretty much right as they didnt really hang around for signings.
the print I got Rutger to sign is truly cool! as soon as it's all custom framed up I'll show some snaps _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |
