Hello,
I hope I don't sound too noobish as it seems you guys have been at this for a long time. So here's my story: My Mom has a part time job cleaning out warehouses filled with the most random assortment of odds and ends and selling the goodies on ebay. Whenever I need something weird I ask her to keep an eye out for me. Last Halloween I asked if she had come across any guns as I was looking for one for my team fortress 2 spy costume. She sent me a photo of about 10 different guns and something caught my eye...
I asked her to send me the gun that looked strangely familiar and it arrived today and its what I thought, a pflager katsumata! It even came in the original box. Unfortunately the gun is falling apart and is missing the second trigger. My Dad had glued a bunch of pieces back on and had wired the LEDs but whoever built it the first time didn't do a very good job. So I was wondering if someone would be able to scan in the instructions that came with their kit so I can take this thing apart and refurbish it? I want to sand it down and paint it properly and restore it to it's former glory, which is why I signed up here.
The only information I can give on the gun is what's on the box. It says:
Pflager / Katsumata Series - D
Police Special
Kit
-Standard Resin Kit
-L.E.D. Kit
Produced By: Doppelganger productions 373 broadway Suite #C22 New York, NY 10013
Sculpted and tooled by Rick Ross
I really appreciate any help you guys can give me!
Thanks!

Hi and welcome aboard!
Rick Ross is a member here, you could search around and then send him a Private Message.
The PKD-1 is a great, classic model of the Blade Runner Blaster! Good luck with restoring it, and show us what you come up with when you're done.
Best

Yep, sounds like you got a PKD-1. Probably my favorite of all the replicas. I know someone here offered the instructions as a download, and I might even have them scanned, just not sure where.
It is a pretty easy kit to build though. It isn't very complex, and doesn't have a lot of non-obvious parts. I do have a few extra parts too, so take pictures and let me know what you need.
Also like Karl said, look around, there is a TON of good info and photos of the PKD kit here, it might give you all the help you need.

I'm definitely going to need the outer trigger as it's completely missing! If you can dig up the instructions I would be very grateful. It's going to take a while to really get into it. I've got a ton of other projects going on right now, but taking a break and sanding gobs of dried glue off all these pieces will be therapeutic. |

I don't have the trigger, but I do have the Instructions. PM me your email and I can send them to you.

Instructions sent. BTW you get extra points for spelling Pflager Katsumata right. Check out Ricks web portfolio of his different versions of the gun at www.pflagerkatsumata.com
