Concerning production, here's what I've got. The Speedloaders & Printed Boxes will be started this week (as I have them on-hand). The bullets/casings are scheduled to be delivered to me at the end of May (est. 3 weeks, though I'm hoping that's a worst case scenario, & that they'll arrive sooner). As soon as they are delivered, I'll let everyone know.

Once I receive the bullets/casings, it will take me a GOOD 3 FULL DAYS to make the ammo. FEI (For Everyone's Info), I will be out-of-town (with limited web access) the 2nd week of June. If everything goes as scheduled, my goal is to have them shipped before that time. BUT, should the components arrive later than expected, I'm thinking everything should be shipped no later than 22 June.

If that's too long for some to wait & you want to pull out, it's all good. Just let me know, so I can offer up the surplus in the The Prop Shop.

OK guys, a quick update.

After looking at my list, I think I'm going to stop taking orders shortly. My current supply order will be able to fulfill 45 more cartridges after this update. (I'm still waiting for specifics from Lear60man (RPF) & tain669 (PS), but I've tentatively pencilled them in for 20; if they want less than that, I will have a few more to offer) This amount is about all I'll feel comfortable taking on at one shot.

So to be clear, as of this minute, 2330 (11:30 PM Eastern) on 5 May, I can take orders for 45 more cartridges (& any Speedloaders & Boxes to go with them). Once these 45 cartridges are spoken for, I will accept no more orders until the orders placed prior to NOW are filled. These last orders will be reserved via timestamp on PropSummit (& the RPF) site (i.e., chronologically). Any orders that come in after the last 45 go, will have to either be cancelled OR put on the wait list for the "second wave" (provided there is enough interest for one).

Once the last ones go, I'll go ahead & update this post again to show the list of "buyers", along what I have down for their orders.

OK. I've been asked multiple times about this, so here is the thread to see if there is enough interest in doing a limited run of these.

First of all, let me state that I will be taking NO money up front. Once/if I get enough interest to warrant starting, I'll go ahead & purchase the supplies, build them, post the results, & THEN start taking payments, followed by shipment. That way, while production is happening, no one is out any money, with PayPal deadlines approaching, tempers flaring, accusations flying, concerns mounting, et cetera, et cetera, ET CETERA.




Here's what I've got figured. The only other run of PKD (I'm gonna call the blaster that for simplicity's sake, & as a nod to the great Rick Ross) ammo I've ever seen done was regular .44 Spl Hollow Points that sold for $20 + shipping for a set of 5 rounds. I think that's a fair price, even though these bullets are more time-consuming to complete. And just to be clear, the run will consist of NEW components. Mine were made from spent re-loads acquired from the range, so they are covered in stains, scratches, dents, & dings that the ordered ammo will NOT have.

I can also provide speedloaders (as shown in the photos) for $15 + shipping.

For everyone that buys a set, I can provide a link to the hi-res (10 MB) file for the box that you can print yourself. If someone wants a physical box (minus the tray, you'll have to source that yourselves), I bought a smallish amount of glossy card stock that my printer does a really good job of printing up (see photos); I can send one of those for $2.

So lemme 'splain. No, ees too much; lemme sum-up:

So that's it, I guess. I'll leave this up & bump it as necessary. As soon as I get enough potential buyers, I'll go ahead & order the materials & update the thread.

I picked up one of the speed loaders a while ago because one of my Safariland shoulder holsters also has a speedloader case, along with a handcuff case too. Problem is that the only guns I dare put in it, the Offworld, and Hartford, both use the 38 shells. I think they make those as well, but I seem to only find the 6 shell loaders.

Since I'm getting these with a box I'll use the other Ammo box that's posted here for my bolt action mini rockets.

Does anyone have the location of that pic. The ammo box with the running blade runner on it. I can only seem to find a low rez scan of it and lost my good copy.
