My Blade Runner stuff still occupies just one shelf in an Ikea Detolf case. I have picked up a few new items since this photo was taken though such as the metal police badges and patches and parts to build a Vidphone.

Its great to see all the pics, keep em comin
The case is standing at the feet of the mannequin that sits in the corner of the room jameth, its all part of one display. Good score on yours.
As i wrote in the first posting, this is the first finished display, will post more pics as it progreses.
Im changing the whole look of my collection, going with a less is more
feel. A new Mad Max project on the size scale of the spinner lights
will see me part with a few things in the next couple of weeks to free up some money and space.
This was my "dont like the dark" period.

Great idea for a thread, Tim !
I really liked to see all those collections and look in the corners of every photo ! (hey JB, saw your Rocketeer helmet twice in some of your pics those last weeks !)
Regarding my props, well I'm not a big fan of the "personal museum option" (with transparent boxes), I really prefer to mix all my props with casual objects, imo those things are made to be played with from time to time (love to hold my Tomenosuke or one of my Neuroïn inhalers while talking on the phone, hehe !)
Here are a few pics of what was displayed around my work place today... Things from Blade Runner, A L I E N, Children of Men, Hellboy, Minority Report, Demolition Man and Moon...
(only the photo of the 4 blasters was arranged specialy for this post)
Fred

Fred. Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it!
I love everything thing.
The Hellboy items. The Samaritan, Kroenen mask & gold.
The Minority Report items.
The police helmet.
Of course, the ALIEN helmet.
And the Moon mug as well.
Love all of it.
Such an amazing collection.

Thank you guys for the kind words...
Mark, I've bought those screenused Hellboy nazi gold bars last year on eBay from a prop seller... Euro was strong and those bars rather "cheap" (Around 70$ each), compared to nowaday prices (Iirc the same seller now auctions the few he has left for something like 200$ each !)
Voilà...
Fred
PS : Neil, did the Moon mugs myself some time ago... I was lucky enough to find rather close mugs on french eBay, it was a fun little project ! (and, above all, cheap and fast)

Fred, that looks a lot like Deck's apt.! ...I couldn't do that in my house: the GF is crazy about order and dust!! (I still love her nontheless ). Love everything you've amass along the years and it's special when you live everyday with your props around you; they become part of your environment thus loosing the "prop" moniker to become object in every sense of the way. |

I totally want to hang out at your house Fred!
...though you'd probably get mad at me for sitting in your dentist chair with the Alien helmet on and a blaster in each hand.
Really want to get me one of those Samaritans...looks great! |

Must admit I've done this (or something similar) a couple of times in the past ! (and that's generaly when my GF looks at me in a particular way that makes me think that I maybe went a bridge too far into geekness)
Fred
PS : regarding the Samaritan, the first version (resin) is the best. It's too light for a gun of this size but the paintjob of the gun and the bullets of the second version just doesn't compare (less screen accurate, too dark).
My advice : Buy both !!!
