I have seen some grips that have reminded me of the BR Gun on some old time western and raygun toy guns. I have some blurry photos somewhere. These are pretty cool. Certainly could have inspired the movie grips.

I love the Hubley, but it wasn't the gun I was talking about. The one I saw had orange translucent tortoise shell plastic grips. I will look to see if I can find the photos.
