Do an eBay search for Smith and Wesson Hogue grips. There are some great wood options.
I've been gathering different types of exotic wood for grip options...

We did a thread a long time ago talking about grips Gaff might use.We had some nice shots of grips people found.

I have seen some grips that have reminded me of the BR Gun on some old time western and raygun toy guns. I have some blurry photos somewhere. These are pretty cool. Certainly could have inspired the movie grips.

The Hubley's a classic! Always too pricey whenever I manage to find one.

Here's a couple more examples of nice grips, however, these are Japanese replicas, not real firearms.

I love the Hubley, but it wasn't the gun I was talking about. The one I saw had orange translucent tortoise shell plastic grips. I will look to see if I can find the photos.
