OK Andy has asked for pictures of the new model, here are some:
One I did as a Worldcon Version:
Note the order was for a Worldcon, with out too much damage and NO rust..

I want to also point out:
None of these models were prototypes, these are pictures of models I build as a part of a run and all have been sold and shipped to their happy owners.
These are pictures of production models.

Those do look quite good Rich. The grips look improved 100%. Over all looking really sharp. The only things that still bother me at this point is how the Steyr bolt end cap fits to the Steyr receiver, and the tilt of the binding post. The cylinder cover on that side is cut straight down, and I can even see that in my stunt castings, but if you look at it at a slight angle, the bulging top does give it the illusion of being on an angle downward, but I am 100% sure it is straight looking at all the hero photos and stunt cast I have in hand At least virtually a right angle, even if the lower part of the magazine housing is a slight angle. But still no where near as pronounced as yours.
Andy

Andy you have a good eye, and I fear your right..both the side cover needs a little work and I need to watch this side knobs...
Some time you need a second pair of eyes to get the last little things you may have missed.

I have made some more observations if you are okay with me mentioning them.

They look great Rich. I like your guns also because of that "hand-crafted" appeal about them.
It is also easy to tweak with your blasters and modify, enhance them
because they can be taken apart easily and the pewter is easy to work with. I like the chunky butt plate.
Wouldn't mind getting one again.... somehow, somewhere
on this planet. Gotta checkout what's happened to our gun laws down-under.

Thanks.
Well without a couple of million dollar machines and a production factory, it is the best I can do.
And the real prop like all props, are a little hand made and thrown together them selves.
So my models are in my book, closer to the real prop than a mass manufactured toy/prop.
And you are getting these from an ex-movie prop maker, another step closer to the real prop. (if that counts...)
