Just got this off of Ebay.

It is a great timepiece into the very early fandom of the movie. It is also interesting to note that they were talking about the same things we still do today, in some cases with more depth. There is also talk of early props being made like a working VK machine with the makers name and address.

The fanzine was published for three issues when the editor Sara Campbell was "tragically" killed (info available from Future Noir or BRMovie.com).

I am offering PDF scans at high resolution, or faithful reproduction to anybody would trade me scans or copies of any of the other 2 issues.

Wow... You've really done a man's job getting that

If you make it available for the public online, let me know.. I would be honoured to host the files if you need the space Wink

I would like to get permission from the surviving contributors before I put it up. Also I would hope to find the other two if possible. I would love to share this gem with everybody of course. I just don't want to piss off those originally involved. If nobody comes forward to object soon I will probably offer it up. Maybe you can help by posting the info on your site as well.

I also have been thinking about making a 4th issue using those of us here, for the 25th anniversary. I would like to keep it in the 'vintage zine' style, but would be open for suggestions as well.

I'd be up for contributing writing for something like that.

You know you can count me in for art, writing, or graphic design.

I'm pencilling a BR comic strip that might do well with this too.

I have your number Noeland, I may have to give you a call soon so we can talk about format. I also know of at least a couple people that are interested in the idea at Bladezone. I know I can get some deals on printing where I work, but I would like to keep this B&W old school for the most part. I know your artwork would be perfect for it. I just wish I could get a go ahead from the original people that worked on it. I know the editor is deceased. We may just have to call it something else, but I was hoping to make a tribute to the original zine and Sara.
