In addition to my efforts displayed in The Prop Shop, I have created a number of pieces other than the magazines on which I am currently working.

As these are collateral pieces that can best be categorized as "inspired by" BLADE RUNNER, I thought I would begin a new post for images of things that might have been . . .

In another time, in another universe, perhaps she would never have been fried - just another skinjob caught in an electrical field . . .

Stacy was beautiful, and very youthful looking, still to this day. I don't understand how she was supposed to be playing the mother like character. For the record though, she was also supposed to be shown dying from the end of her 4 year life span as well, making her at least 4yo.

Beautiful work.

I did a "little" research and found a comment on a website that listed each characters inception date, with a brief profile. Perhaps pure speculation, it described her characteristics as a guardian-type and a organizer (housekeeper) for the group. It stated her inception to be November 1, 2017 (a bit problematic as the inception datecodes for all others were defined without the use of a Ø). I had heard this point before - it also stated she was one of the two killed by an electrical charge.

Perhaps this information is wrong or there was yet another change at some point during script development.

Easily corrected if anyone cares to verify this. (And you are probably correct, Andy.)

This is where feedback is so valuable. Thanks for the note. - R13

R13,

You are correct that the script had changed often, as did the date the movie was supposed to be set in. Originally it was supposed to be 2020. They did finally decide that she would have been the second one to die running through the "Electrical field". Since her part was cut after they filmed the briefing scene, they changed Bryant's dialogue to say that "two" died instead of "one", to make it add up right and end the speculation that Deckard was the 6th in the Final Cut. The name of the first replicant killed was Hodge I believe, but that might have changed as well.

Yes. It was noticeable early-on, when most of the magazines carried a 2020 date on their covers. I believe in an early interview with Ford, he also stated it all took place in 2020. I have proceeded under the adjusted perspective that the movie takes place toward the end of 2019, on the cusp of a new decade. Some of my pieces reflect that assumption.

As to Mary and Hodge (I believe that name is correct as well), it was mentioned on that site that they both died in that incident, shortly after their successful escape to Earth.

However, I still get confused over the numbers spouted by Bryant in the various versions, and how that might relate to Rachel and Deckard.

Thanks again. - R13

Good work once again Rep13...love that Valentine one a lot.
On other news, I went through many documents/pics from the Getty Image history, also Twiggy.com as well as all the Vogue covers (U.S., U.K. and France)...and nothing about that elusive "Fash" front pic.

I do believe that it may be a stock photo from the Mod era (my search starts at the '60s throughout the '70s); my next search will be in that order: Elle magazine, Vanity Fair and Paris Match.
After that, I'll try to find pics from Photogs themselves and their collection.
(The Web is such a wonderful place Wink )

Just checking in, ever so briefly, to express my admiration for your work. Excellent stuff, Replicant 13.

Speaking as a bit of a design nerd (aren't we all?), it really pushes my buttons.
