Hello, People!

This is my first post here, though I've been lurking for a long time and admiring all the fine work you guys do.

Myself, I'm currently in the process of designing/creating a Blade Runner board game. It'll be completely free, for 2-4 players, and playable right here on the good ol' internet (there'll be a print-and-play version available, as well).

The only hang-up I'm facing is that I don't have a blu-ray drive, and I need a full-resolution HD image from the film to use as the background for the game board. The image in question is, from the Final Cut, the very first frame in the shot of the city that directly follows Holden getting 'aired-out' by Leon. 1920x1080 resolution is what I'm after, and in .png format.

Could any of you kind folks help me out? If so, I'll message you my email to send the file, and I'll be very happy to include your handle in the credits if you like. And of course, I will no doubt be back here looking for interested playtesters, when the time comes.

Thank you very much for your time and, hopefully, your help. Have a better one! Very Happy

Welcome aboard I.J. Thompson...I don't have a Blue-Ray either, but I'm sure other members here will make you wish come true.
A BR board game sounds interesting and new...eager to see the final product.

It's a beauty, but I need the first frame of that shot - where the sign fully says 'off-world', and the spinner is a little further to the right (and a .png file, preferably). But thank you very much for uploading that!

Thank you for the welcome, joberg! I've been testing the game like crazy, and it's easy to learn, but still very fun... and nine times out of ten, culminates in a white-knuckle chase to the finish! Here's a tease of one of the cards, just for fun:

I wonder - do you think I should have put this thread in the 'props' forum? Being brand-new here I'm trying not to break the rules (the game is not really a prop, after all), but perhaps general BR discussion is not the best place?

After I finish writing the (short) rulebook, this screencap is the only thing I need!

The general discussion is the correct thread...since you're kind of breaking ground with that type of game on Propsummit, why not?

Doesn't BladeZone have hd screen grabs on their site?

They do, but not HD, and not the frame I'm after.
