So, With Rich's unfortunate retirement from making props I think I might regret this... but I'm considering parting with this partially completed Sidkit Worldcon version BR blaster.

It's been blued and painted correctly, then weathered and all the parts have been coated with crystal clear lacquer for safety. (I never trust that pewter doesn't contain at least a little lead and I don't want my skin touching the stuff!)

Al that is left is final assembly, which is easy since all the screws have been tapped. The model is of course complete with all screws, accessories and electronics.

NOTE: All the paint and weathering would be easy to remove if someone wanted this "as new". Washing with acetone will take off the paint and the rest of the bluing will come off afterward by rubbing with some steel wool.

***sold***

I COULD put it together upon request- it's an easy build from here on in, but shipping it in parts would be easier.

PM for details!

I thought I would add my 2 cents worth.

That is a nice weathering job and it will make a great looking finished model.

IF I was you I would finish it a put it on ebay.

There has not been any good build blasters for weeks and none of the all metal versions and it should get $1000.00 PLUS.

Thanks so much for the kind words Rich. (Hope you're feeling better too.)

I actually thought I had it sold but the buyer backed out due to financial reasons. I had kinda earmarked the $ already so I'm hoping for a quick sale. If it stalls I may well do as you suggest! (Only thing with the 'bay is having to deal with the possibility that they want to hold funds for 21 days and all... can't stand that policy.) Cheers!
