[EDIT: looks like the limited number of reservations was hit in no time. So consider this information for reference only at this time.]

Information is a little thin on this one, but the Tomen blog shows this gun

http://tenshu53.exblog.jp/18698596/

Kit not included, so the price is just for having it assembled for you. Clear-grip, mirror finish version is ¥ 141,750 ($1,442). Blueing finish is ¥ 157,500 ($1,602)

I had to wait for confirmation, but it turns out the blasters are being built by none other than gunsmith Nobutaka Toku (Nobu-san), designer of the Tomenosuke blaster!

Limited number of reservations is already reached.

Absolutely magnificent but sometimes things can become TOO perfect IMO.

Thanks for sharing mate, I hope you get one of these as well!

Warm regards

The clear grips.

These are available for sale by themselves apparently.

Their nicest blaster yet, IMO, but at $1600 USD? Ouch Sad

I do like the reflective finish on the receiver and barrel though... the matte finish on their World Con pro is the only thing I'd have improved, and it looks like they did just that.

Oh... So $2100? Double ouch. I mean, it looks top notch, but at double the cost of their last model, it seems a little steep.

It does.

I agree with the 'too perfect' sentiment too.

When things are super pristine, I think it takes them out of the world. Nothing that's been used even once looks as clean as that Smile

It is a long time no comment in this summit.
But I must appreciate all of your help to sell out our kits completely.

Tomensuke team is working on some projects which everybody knows on this forum.

In the meantime, I would like to tell you we have a few pieces of Wor-Con version blaster left in LA. If anybody is interested in this, let me know at:

I am very tempted to get another one too. I do want one to build and one to keep as is...and one to make in police mode....and one to make custom in Deckard well used mode....and on and on.

Thanks for the heads up Mune.

Damn!? $1600 just to build it!? Hmmmm....a little steep and I would rather do my own work if I had a kit! Their Pro model is a beauty and maybe someday I will pick one up!?! First a Richard Coyle piece as his are THE REAL DEAL....Ahhh to dream. Cheers!

You're paying Nobu-san to build up your kit for you. You have to have already got one of the kits. And the available slots are already sold out (I don't know if it's limited to 10 or if Nobu will be doing this again later).

This offer is basically an opportunity to have a piece of hand-bulit art made by the guy who designed the PRO blaster.

That is what you get from me at my much lower price of $1600.00.

Hand made by the guy whom did ALL the research and build many models learning how this thing comes together, with a sign COA from me personally.

Wow shame I can't charge $1600.00 just for my building service...

Rich

Rich...all in all..I think you're models are nicer and much closer to what the actual prop looked like! $1600 just to build it!? After hearing that I gotta laugh!...anyone with even decent building skills and a little blueing knowledge could do this assembly as well as this photo displays if they already have the kit! I guess if you are interested in paying for it to go back to this dude and wait for someone else to put your kit together for you than go ahead..I want to build mine myself! It also seems to me ( not to be insulting or rude at all!?!) thaf these guys probably had MANY looks at your years of research to help them build their "Pro" model!?! Im not saying that with 100% knowledge, but it has a lot of similarities that are hard to deny?...You know where my $$ is heading Rich, Gotta say I'm in your corner on this one! Cheers!

It sounds like he really doesn't want to spend all his time building other peoples' blasters, thus the high price.

CLUTCH WROTE: "....It sounds like he really doesn't want to spend all his time building other peoples' blasters, thus the high price...."

That could be a reason as well. I guess he can ask for a premium price because these are likely to remain very limited and exclusive builds....and there are always people out there who can afford to pay that amount for such limited coolness. Cool I don't think anyone who buys one will lose out, if they wanted to resell it either. I like the ball-burnished highly polished version...looks similar to chrome....so pretty.
