While we never saw if Gaff had I.D. in the movie, I'm sure some people here could actually imagine a similar kind of wallet made for him.
Btw, I never saw that type of I.D. with Gaff's pic on it Wink

Hopefully the right person will see this and offer the ID. Would love to have this in my collection!

We made one here that was a free paper prop to print your own. I got mine laminated at kinkos. I will try a quick search to see if I can find it here. I have some left too that I printed, but did not laminate.

There is gold on this place but you might have to go digging. Wink

Hi Andy,

Thanks for finding and sharing! I actually found your link before I posted this thread. I also managed last night to find the exact Gaff photo (printed both via my printer) and matched the two items. Here is what I scanned together. Not ideal pixelation but getting there.

I am planning to have someone work on making me a badge ID with the images I have given I don't have adobe photoshop.

For the record, no police ID would let anyone wear a hat in the ID photo...lol Wink

Lol! True, but given this particular character, I am sure Gaff would tell the photographer/office to stuff it when asked to take the hat off.

That is why I liked this particular photo, given his unorthodox manners. LoL

Don't forget he takes his hat off when he goes into Bryant's office. He is a cop that is respectful of his profession and authority. The suit may only be a disguise for the street, and if you look carefully as they enter Bryant's office you will see another person dressed similarly in the police station. Him wearing the hat in the ID just screams "lazy" and "fan made"...to me at least. We are all detail hounds here, and we are driven by the smallest ones Wink

I hear you. I am also very particular. The Gaff ID you shared was great and I appreciate the find. it's just I personally felt it had a more older Gaff feel, like a present day Olmos. I am looking for a younger looking version which may be hard to find. Thus, hat vs age was a tradeoff for me.

I do welcome anyone in this forum with photoshop skills to crop the hat off of my Gaff photo attached and replace it without a hat. The eye color would need to be highlighted as well.

I have the Gaff LAPD ID card photo I used in my limited edition badge wallet offering (Deckard, Gaff, Holden, Bryant) a few years ago. It is a good pic, and NO HAT. Having been a cop over 25 years I can guarantee that regardless of rank or arrogance, you did not wear a hat for your official photo.

I'll share the hi rez version with anyone willing to make an ID for me as well. The sets I sold were the "retro" sets that portrayed all of them as active cops, one rank lower than in the movie, with the 2 piece metal badge and a retro ID card so I don't have a Gaff current card.

The Gaff photo was a private commission I had done by a graphic artist.
