|

hi guys.
I'm new to the collecting hobby and I hope you dont mind me picking your brain on a Tomenosuke.
I bought it of ebay last year and its a beautifull piece.
My only concern is that the steyer lever is VERY loose. when I hold the gun and shake it it ratles! its was not the kit but the pre build version of the world con I bought. Brand new.
Is it supposed to be that loose?
I sav Adam Savages videoclip where he goes through his collection of blasters and noticed that his tomenosuke also was very loose in the lever. When he puts down or picks up the gun you can clearly see the lever move.
hope to hear from you.
best.
Martin. |

Hi Martin,
Luckily I was browsing this area of the board this morning... (usually not too fond of gun blabla must admit, lol)
This to say, I have two Tomenosuke, one with the same problem as yours. this one was the first they released and it was a kit version, you had to assemble and paint it... and at the end yes, the Steyer is loose in that one.
Later versions corrected this problem, but these were not kits, they were delivered assembled.
This to say I think you bought one of the very first versions released by Tomenosuke, the kit version...
Hope it'll help.
Fred
PS : Denmark rocks, I was in Copenhagen last year and LOVED it !!! _________________ THE FUTURE IS A THING OF THE PAST |
