Thanks guys.

I still have a few more of these bolt sets on hand, (I ran a few more off with the last metal on hand)

And as it is now summer here (100+) I do not plan on doing any more metal casting until late fall.

So once these are gone...they are gone.

BIG UPDATE:

I have just been told that my front cap will also fit, and it will save you the time and possible damage drilling out the off world unit.

Also I was asked to offer the Safety and side rods as well:
So:

Front cap $8.00

Side rod $18.00 Hollow for LEDs and wires.

Safety switch $2.00 N/C if ordered with all the parts,

(Bolt, cocking lever and rear cap in kit form for those that want to upgrade their Off World Blasters. @ $27.00 plus the above.)

Still waiting for word on the barrel.

More on the Offworld updates.

This in from OCD:

My metal barrel:

WILL fit an OFW with some modification as the OFW barrel has to be cut off and the frame needs to be drilled out to take the new insert from your barrel. I haven't replaced any of my OFW barrels with metal as it doesn't bother me, when you can only see mostly just the end and side. Also less hassle from USPO on shipping probably. ( Metal barrel $43.00 Note my current barrels are NOT hollow but are solid aluminum that are drilled only 3 inches from the front.)

The front cap:

The inside edges need to be SLIGHTLY sanded in order that the round curve fits flush with the OFW barrel.

I guess the next thing will be grips, frame and butt plate.

LOL. I love it.

THIS was the first upgrade I did to one of my OFW's (OffWorld)

Yes they fit. The inner handle (.38 ) has some space at the bottom.

the rear and forward holes lines up with the Coyle outer grip frame.

The bottom does not. I used this space for some lead fishing sinkers for added weight.

Here are some examples of OFW's with Coyle Outer grip, amber grips and butt plate:(note, the safety swich is ALSO a Coyle metal safety.

If you do this you need to cut off the OFW safety, sand and paint the aria were the safety was. I super glued it to the reciever instead of drilling a hole as this aria is the weakest part on the OFW receiver and is VERY prone to breaking. I've broke 2 OFW receivers in this area just removing them during disassembly.

I forgot this or I would have posted it.

I used the OFW metal trigger guard with the Coyle.

If you do this you will need to cut / file a notch to fit the turn down hook up to the outer grip as the Coyle grip is set up for a screw attachment system for the trigger guard.

Rich,

No problem. glade to help.

YOUR parts are "screen accurate" and some of the OFW parts are not and they are easily swapped out with a little modification.

After looking at your list,
Here are the parts I have test fit on OFW's.

Front cap:
fits, might need a little sanding on the inside edge as it is made for a .44 not. 38 also need to drill the top site hole screw.

Bolt: fits, using the Coyle OFW upgrade parts. (Front cap /Cocking lever /Rear Cap)

Cocking lever:
Slight filing on inside bottom of leaver to make sure it does NOT touch the OFW bottom cut out as it is the 2nd weak spot on the OWF receiver.

Rear Cap: Fits, Needs filling as it is slightly larger than the OFW.
Recommend using you original OFW receiver as your file template.
(i'm assuming you have replaced it with OFW's latest CORRECT spelling version)

Safety switch:
Straight up swap. Remove the OFW SUPER glue the new one on.
I would not recommend screwing it as this is the weakest aria on the OFW receiver.

Butt Plate / Outer grip frame / Pistol grips / Trigger guard:
I would recommend these as a unite. They fit and front and back screw holes line up.
Not the bottom as the . 38 inner grip is shorter than the .44 inner grip.

If you use the OFW trigger guard (I have one with a Coyle and OFW) you need to file in the down turn on the Goyle outer grip.

Side rod :
straight swap you need to drill the attachment holes.
The Coyle Side rod has much better detail.

Knob:
Plastic vs metal / Coyle has much better detail.

The side covers I'm not sure on. .44 vs . 38 they are really close in fit.

Amo housing:

it fits slight modification as the OFW is straight and the Coyle is screen accurate.
You will need to file the side below the weaver knob out on the Coyle ammo housing as the OFW is slightly smaller.

I've replaced all the electronics in my OFW's as their LED boards do not seem to last very long.

Metal barrel:
Fits, you need to modify the OFW cutting off and drilling out the frame to replace it.

If I were going to replace the barrel I would also replace the Ammo housing and electronics at the same time.
Just easier since you have the OFW broke down any way.

Note; If you use a Coyle Ammo housing you need all the rest of the parts ie
Ammo clip, LEDs 4 red and 2 green. Switch, Lever switch, Batter holder

The OFW Ammo clip cover (part with LED's & OFF ON switch) parts will NOT fit a Coyle ammo housing.

Rich thanks for offering these!

Happy upgrading every one!

best regards,

OCD
