Hi Propsummit members, Thunderbirds fans.

AMIE (Japanese Brand) - 1/43 scale THUNDERBIRDS FAB 1 Vehicle - Diecast Metal Completed Model

Hobbylink Japan website announced over a year ago about the upcoming 1:43 scale Lady Penelope Rolls Royce car , the FAB 1.
It is diecast metal and has its own display case.
Now released a few days ago (end of July 2014), was on preorder, but they have more left IN STOCK,
for 20% off retail price .... only about US$74 (7600 JPYen) plus shipping.

1/43 scale...is it the same as Dinky Toys? TFS btw

I am not sure of the actual length of this model car. At 1/43 scale it would be approximately 160 mm long; based on the theoretical full scale design of the FAB1 at about 682 cm (about 22.4 feet long) divided by 43.
...But Amie's 1/18 scale FAB 1 from two years back was about 350mm long, which makes the 1/43 scale version approximately 146 mm long maybe .

The Dinky car is about 140 - 143 mm long.

So, I guess it is about the same size as the Dinky car...maybe a little bigger.
