Thanks guys! Yes, bigger is the only route this model is taking Very Happy
The outer rim will make it 7 feet high...to the wife's horror Wink
The added challenge is to design it in way that allows me to take it apart to paint it and also to move through doors and hallways.

Oh man, that's AWESOME, unbelievable !!!!!!!

(Now you'll just have to find a scaled hamster and it won't bother the wife anymore to have this at home once completed)

Well, that's it for this half of the station. The bridges struts are in place as well as the cones ending each spokes. I'll do a wash later to do the "used look". I'll start the second module today, so radio silence for several weeks on the WIP (same stuff as the first module).

Great update joberg. Loving that detailing more and more.

You can see already, with a light weathering, it's going to photograph beautifully.

Top work.

Nice work, and I find it particularly enjoyable having recently finished "Lost Science of 2001", which features archival goodies from the film. Onward and upward, my friend! Very Happy

Thanks guys...I'll experiment during the week-end with the sun as my only source of light and see how pics can be taken into that context

Merci Fred....lots of things to be done on that behemoth of a model, but it's worth it. Cannot wait for the second module to be done; it's going faster than the first one because I kept all of my panel patterns I had applied on the first one. Less of a guessing game Wink

Time for an update on that Station...well, the second module is done (no weathering of any kind, I'll wait for the main tunnel joining the 2 modules to be finished).

Joberg that's coming along big time. Can't wait to see the other photos once you get them displaying correctly.
