Feeling damn lucky to have got this into the UK before the ban (thanks for your efforts there, Rich), here are some pics of the 'CS&T All-Metal 'WorldCon' Blaster'. I couldn't spend as much time on them as I would have liked as I'm monumentally busy at the moment. More later perhaps. Smile

Quick summary verdict:

• It's heavy!
• It looks (to me) like the real-deal!
• It outclasses my previous PKD a million times over.

Full write-up later in conjunction with Andy if/when I have the time.

Enjoy!... (See notes)

General 'scuffage' on Weaver knob done by me (delivered black). Smile

No 'Bell wire' visible - didn't want it (wouldn't be seen in a real firearm)

General 'scuffage' on base and 'back end' done by me (delivered black) - needs work. Embarassed

very nice peice indeed!

Though some of the parts still look like they need finishing. The front of the LED box chamber still has rough excess. I also think the paint on the prop was alot glossier (allthough the matt finish works well)

The last nitpick is the paint wear on the butplate. Just looks like sanded off paint. What would have been better is a printed a transfere of the real paint wear using karls photos which would be rubbed on. How much did this set you back by the way?

Otherwise a great job by Rich Very Happy

ps. photos display a bit corrupted.

Just to re-emphasize, that was me - I'll probably repaint and sand it again when I have time. Impatient bugger that I am. Wink

WOW, thumbs-up from me!

Although I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to afford one. Sad

Nice work, RC.

And I am at racprops@cox.net

I am leaving all the flaws of the original parts in, as they were on the real thing.

Thanks for showing the pics. Very nice indeed. I am very much thinking of working out a payment plan with Rich on this one.

That's not very subtle.
Maybe he's really taking his time so he can get it absolutely spot on.

Wouldn't make any difference whatsoever to me. It can be as "spot-on" as he likes - I won't be able to import it anyway!

Eagle,

Thanks for sharing those amazing pictures with us. Rich really did a fantastic job on this one.

I'm patiently waiting for mine to arrive. Glad that a few made it across the pond in time to beat the ban on prop replicas.

I will be curious to see more of these as people who ordered different features / finishes show their new props off here.

My only gripe is that your pictures are making my wait more difficult.

Great show off of the gun and your collection.

Rich,

Fantastic build!! I am really wishing I had the money for this, however; now is not the time for me Sad

You really did a great job and I hope to someday get to hold one of these bad boys.

Mark,

As always awesome pictures you lucky bastard! If some of you think these pics are great, you should see the photos he has taken of his watches, WOW!

Thanks for sharing!

Tom
