Liking that middle section joberg.
All looking great.
Where are you spraying it?
Looking forward to the construction of the outer rings/wheels!

My spray booth is, I'm afraid, the outside Confused I'm waiting for better weather before spraying (don't you hate when leafs are falling on your fresh painted model? Evil or Very Mad )

Well, now that it's painted, I'm in the process of weathering the modules, spokes and main tunnel.

When the tunnel still had yellow and black parts it had a "je ne sais quoi" that reminded me of Chris Foss and/or Space : 1999 !

Anyhow it looks even better now that it's been primered, painted and weathered...

AWESOME work once again JB !!!

Cool

Fred

Thanks Fred and Ben...tomorrow the weathering will be done, after that it'll be on to the difficult build of the unfinished part of the station.
Stay tuned!

Well, after a few delays (you know, life in general) here's the latest from the Space Station.
As I said, this is the first installment of the "Under Construction Rim".
I have another 3 to do, albeit not as big as this one (one is actually completely made of scaffoldings).

Much more to come of course

Thanks guys Well, I've somewhat painted myself into a corner.
After measuring the circumference of the Station I've noticed that I cannot put it through the door Shocked

Don't know how to resolve the problem...yet. Will have to seriously think about that one for sure. I don't want to sell the house (many years from now) with that model included in the sale price Rolling Eyes

Yep, I turned the question around and around in my head and the solution might be the removal of the door, its frame, gyproc, the 2X4 and...voilĂ !

Now, where did I put those divorce papers ?

They're in the house... Too bad you're outside now and the wife locked inside...
