Ooh interesting. The new Sinatra edition. I wonder how it would look with the label from the movie. Photoshop anyone? I've spent some decent money on whiskey, but I don't think I could bring myself to spend $150 on JD, at least not until the bottle is a perfect replica. |

TFS Pete...yep, it's close. I think that JD has no idea how many bottle of whisky they'd sell if their bottle was exactly like the one we want
Heck, I would start drinking just for that |

My guess is that, since it was a real bottle at one point, the design is probably copyrighted/trademarked somewhere, and because of that, JD couldn't make it exactly like it without paying a licensing fee. So, the designer paid homage to it but changed enough to avoid any problems. _________________ Pete |

FOR YOUR "CONSIDERATION" . . .
There's something just wrong with mixing these liquors, but here's a stab at what the Limited might look like, altered for the BR Universe (and taking some creative liberties with the actual bottle and tumbler).
As to the bottler even considering the influence of the film, I must disagree. While ours is a cherished interest, I rather doubt they would contemplate altering their bottle for such a limited audience, with few here willing to put down $150 for the bottle, unless it exactly matched a competitor's fictitious container.
But it is pleasantly close. ..Probably as close to an exact replica of the BR version that one might hope for aside from something those here with the talent and initiative could offer.
But then, we've all seen things . . . - R13 _________________ Gosh, you've really got some nice toys here . . .

Which might bring the original bottle's origins to light..... _________________ - Brian (formerly ToothTech)

Good score! I don't know of anybody making the labels currently. I hope somebody else does, because that bottle deserves it. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |
