CS&T All-Metal 'WorldCon' Blaster

I have proven to many that his earlier model was/is a ripped off copy made off my model three. (And that 80% still is..)

So why has he not beaten me to market? I "lost' about three/four months laid up with a bad back, IF he really makes his own masters he should have gotten it done way ahead of me.

Well I must admit that despite my general opinion of Rich's resin piece(s) and finishing ability, the pictures I have seen of this specific version look good.

I would still lengthen the grip a little and angel it a tad more, clean up some of the metal flash a little more, but the details in this model are far superior to any of his previous pieces.

The cast of this by the metal workshop he goes to did a great job.

On the finishing, it looks like the metal is getting coated with a protector, which is great and the paint is not chipping off as I believe the metal is being treated chemically. It still could look more worn and beat up like a service revolver, but overall it appears to be a very nice piece. I look forward to seeing how the other pieces turn out.

Also, I do not think Siderio is going to produce a worldcon version. It is really unfortunate as I do believe he would have made an outstanding kit.

Last I heard he is still working on a worldcon version, since I also lent him a scope knob for him to cast off of, that he sent me stuff in trade for. He also has been trying to get actual gun parts as well, but I am sure it is not as easy as it is in the US to do. He knows he will be held accountable if any of his pieces are cast off of Rich's gun, so he seems to be going the extra mile as not to be accused it. Of course the issues with the Mal gun and QMX may have changed some things, and I have not heard from him about the project in a while.

I do not believe he plans on doing a kit.

Man, I must get a lot of conflicting info than everyone else does when it comes to bottles and wallets. Now I get it with blasters too.

Bryan is referring to this email I received from Siderio when I asked him how the WorldCon blaster was coming along:

"Dear Sir,

Seen that I spent a lot of time to help the collectors to obtain a quality product spending a very honest price but people continue to support a speculators as R. Coyle. I decided to stop the production and the worldcon version would be no more relised. I think that is better support other people that support me for other interesting collecticable items. I am sure you will be happy of the new " super expensive R. Coyle production"

So there you have it. Sounds like he either won't be doing it or he is just pulling my leg.

I LOL with this line: quality product spending a very honest price But Not honest made, when you rip off someone’s model.

And I wish this was true: " super expensive R. Coyle production" I am barely making a living so I wish the market was willing to support a higher price.

I also find the implied bit about honest price a bit insulting.

I ask a honest price for my model, there is no dishonesty in asking what I want for my work any more that is there for what he asks for his.

I work very hard on these models and very hard in making them accurate.

Companies whom go to Hong Kong and buy for $25.00 a model and then resell them for $350.00 well that is a bit more dishonest that either Sid or myself.

That IS taking advantage of our lack of knowledge of the cost of making these models overseas.
