I have the pair of glasses (repro of course) that Chew wears in the cold room. I was thinking of auctioning them (since I don't know how much to ask for it). The starting price is $100...I'll pay the postage to the highest bidder The auction will be on for 5 days only by PMs only. Thanks.

It's an intriguing item for sure. Much luck with the sale.

I believe he is holding a private silent auction right here on the summit. Normally most forums are not too keen on those, but since Joberg is a long time respected member I think it should be cool. I would add that he should have the right to refuse bids as well from those he does not feel comfortable selling to, or all parties find a way to protect themselves. Normally I would suggest just listing the item on ebay and posting the online auction here. Consider this a test to see if this can work here without any issues. If done right it should have no more problems than a regular first person sale of items, but if there is a problem, it is up to the those participating to work it out between themselves, and we at the summit are in no way responsible for anything legally or otherwise.
