My guess is that the kit is too expensive, they will have enough orders coming from japanese customers to sell all the new stock, so they just wish to avoid all the trouble of shipping international, have to fill customs, insurance, claims in case there's any issue, etc...
Some sellers in Japan just prefer to not send overseas. When buying the Takagi Blaster I had some emails back and forth, explaining that I had previously bought in Jpan (even giving names of the shops and sellers I bought from) to the the blaster delivered... |

But all their kits are expensive, so I don't really know why they encouraged me to contact them regarding other products... I'll probably get the same answer if I ask about other stuff. |

That's the exact message I got. It makes no sense to me. But it's probably true, they don't have any problems selling them domestic and just don't want to go that extra mile as for instance Tomenosuke does.... Service these days

Makes no sense to me neither. I guess its about time to start crearing my own line now that I have 3D modelling skills, 3D Printers available and loads of reference. |

Go for it Spinner 44...kits are difficult to make (the R & D is killer) but once it's on, it's on |

Does Randy, by any chance, offer assembled/painted kits? |

I believe Randy does offer full build-ups of the Spinner kit that include electronics (or did, my information is not current). They run approximately $4000. |

Thanks Lanboy. I guess I'll e-mail him when my economy is a bit better to find out if he offers other options. I don't really need one with electronics, a painted and assembled kit without extras would do. |

I'd gladly build and paint a Randy Cooper Spinner for someone if required. |
