The first question is: what kind of 12v battery??
If you can describe it, that wil help us help you. |

Its a 23A looks like a small "N" type battery - not a watch battery. |

I can get you one if you would like and send it along with that other item we discussed...?
I got my 12V holder at a local Electronics shop.
Let me know! |

For any kind of electronics you should check these guys first:
http://www.allelectronics.com/
They are local to me so I often find myself going in there just to check out what they've got. However, they are great to deal with online from what I understand from my costuming buddies, many of whom live far enough from Van Nuys, CA to where going there would be a major expedition.
Great prices on excellent stuff, both for working electronic parts and for greeblie/nurnie hunting. _________________ Sushi, that's what she called me. Cold fish. |

BLW Did you know that An "N" Battery Holder will also work for the 23A's.
I Actually just recently was looking for them too and Some one at Radio Shack told me that An "N" holder will do the Job:
I needed them for my Snub Project: http://propsummit.com/viewtopic.php?t=625 |

I tried the 12v in the "N" holder and the LEDs worked but the battery got super hot. Did you find this as well in your buildup?
Thanks |

You might have to get A higher ohm rated resistor.
Do not forget to hook up the resistor to the + wire on the Holster and than the LEDS after that.
May I ask what is your project?
is it A Blaster too?
This Website Might Help.

Try a low voltage, I use a 3 volt battery on my models and hook the LEDs parallel.
