Yes! Looking good. Lord knows how tedious and long such animation can be Crying or Very sad I speak of experience and discovered that I`m not cut out to do that type of work...saying that, it`ll be great to see some of the set also Cool

Excellent and scary at the same time mate Shocked As you know and unless you`re going to use special effects, you cannot have a ``smoky`` set or rain falling down. The animation will be hell, trying to do these things together.
These could be added in post, but again (I don`t know what kind of camera/effects you have at your disposition) it's not simple to achieve.
That said, I'm eager to see what you're going to cook for us all Wink

Good stuff mate! Did you build a partial street set already, maybe combined with other trickery: i.e. background taken directly from the movie or other type of imagery? I know that asphalt is made using black sand paper. You can always experiment with the type of grit and wet it to see how it looks in- camera. Also coffee grinds for crap on the pavement sidewalk borders, etc.
Water wont stay long under the lights, so oil is the go- to product to use.
Baby powder is also making some details to pop-up and transform the overall look into a "used and abused" world.
I'll live vicariously through your project Wink

Will you be able to do "stop-motion" or just the regular frame-by-frame without the blur?

i am actually studying BOYH versions at the moment. I rather LIKE the pre GO-MOTION staccato look of stop motion...
