Surprised this hasn't come up before but...
What are peoples thoughts on this?
Personally I think they have nailed the general aesthetic and tone of the story. The use of light to me is exceptional and makes it look like it fits straight in to the world. The soundscape leans a bit too far towards Zimmer with not enough nods to Vangelis from what I have seen so far (5 episodes in) fut works well IMHO.
Loving the subtle nods to both the original and 2049. Anyone else notice the "early version" of Luv's blaster? |

I've been enjoying it for what it is. LA in the Blade Runner universe is a city of a thousand tales. This is an interesting, non-detective story. |
