I thought I shared this a long time ago, but I guess not. I used to chip away at a graphic novel I wrote and was creating. I still work on it, but just life happens where I'm not designating the time like I should.

I remember a while back seeing @8th_passenger post on his BR inspired world, Wrigelyville. So I also wanted to highlight his amazing work as well.

The bulk of the world is very Blade Runner inspired, not only because of the cyberpunk motif, but just the overall feel. The way I would think of it is to take Blade Runner as the overall base and level of hard sci-fi setting, then put it in a blender with whatever I've cherry picked from Akira, Ghost in the Shell, The Dark Knight Reutrns, Cowboy Bebop, Cyber City Oedo 808, Neuromancer, and a very very heavy handed dose of The Punisher. I just wanted a gritty hard boiled ultra mature crazy comic universe. Theres biker gangs, triple crosses, love stories, revenge, environmental/political banter, discussions on faith, and wonferful journeys to new worlds.

I started this project and idea probably around 2010. While I've toiled with a thousand large ideas, I stagnated and returned countless times. I would work on Wall St. by day and then draw all night, I've since moved into a different industry just as busy, and finally have my office at home to concentrate. Since returning, I've seen the aesthetic and rise of Cyberpunk as a medium, and countless projects that felt like had somehow leaked out of my mind and computer into others hands. I think it's great that Cyberpunk became a big deal, I also feel I missed out on completing this during the sweet spot. Who knows, its still a fun hobby. Feel free to follow along.

Here's some of the artwork and concepts, let me know what you think. Thanks!

I'm a fan of the settings - I think the vibe is solid.
