The version I have is print rez, but like I said its needing some love. The originals had faded considerably and what I received was a Xerox. Id love to see the sheets that sold at the auction a couple of years ago...

|

So I made one of these for myself and ....well the paper may as well be full so I have 4 to trade for something Blade Runner related if somebody needs a DECKARD id....
The ids are laminated and the red clear X is a separate piece on top of the id...they also have the back done with the print that everyone uses...
now I am no expert and they are not perfect in a wallet they would be good enough but you see how they are in the photo so judge for yourself...hope nobody is angry that I made them with photoshop and a combination of images from here and there ,combined them all to the end result ,thats why I am not selling them on ebay...
send me a pm with your offer (dont be afraid to offer) thanks! _________________ I've seen things ....you people appear to be intrested in ... |

Hi Everyone.
It's long overdue that I post something on PropSummit.
How's this for a start?
http://www.syndime.com/pics/Moni.gif
Click the link for a print resolution version. I've made it as accurate as I possibly can including the strange mix of fonts Tom Southwell used on the original artwork. I assume that was due in part to him running out of some Letraset letters and improvising. Notice the two different "e"s in Illegal Aliens.
I don't have a copy of Omni anymore to size this correctly. Perhaps somebody here can let me know the correct dimensions?
I'll pop a few more treats up soon. |

And there's this ...
This took some work, but it's now finished to print res (300DPi) and without the watermark!
What do people feel about replicating typos in props? I assume that everyone here knows "orgasam" isn't the correct spelling? |

Wow, fantastic stuff I cannot thank you all enough for sharing things that I know have taken a lot of work!
As for typos in props, I guess I am from the camp that likes it to be as close to the original as possible. Though, I do not mind if someone feels the need to change it for typos, I just prefer it to stay the same.
Thanks again!

It seems to have gone quiet around here.
I have almost finished the definitive version (I hope) of the Droid magazine cover. I have pm'd & emailed PhasePistol (Karl) asking for access to his photo of the prop at WorldCon but I haven't had a response yet.
How about the Boyards cigarette packs? I've finished the cover art of two different types of Boyards, both with the maize paper cigarettes rather than the ordinary white. I don't mean that the art contains the packs, I selected the design based on what the original would hold.
Anybody interested? If so I'll need to lay things out as a pattern to build up into the correct pack size. |

The Boyard cigarette pack is apparently not like a regular "flip-top" box. It is a "slider" box. Without seeing one open, I wouldn't be able to figure out a template for it. Is there a shot of Rachel opening a box in BR (it's been a while since I watched it)? IF so, I can see about mocking something up. _________________ Pete |

Yep, I've already made the template for the inner tray.
I only know what the front of the outer sleeve looks like though. Anybody here know what the side or back are like? If not I'll get creative.
I have made the purple and the green pack art. There's an embossed head of a Russian Cossack which I have simulated with a picture.
More soon. |

Hello gentlemen,
I'd like to introduce myself as a new member from France, I'm a BR fan since the release of the film in 1982 and I like this site very much.
I've been lurking here since the creation of Propsumit but some of your last posts make me think that perhabs I could help concerning the BOYARDS packet. Luckily, I own one of them....Would you like me to scan it unfolded ( like a patern ), in this way you could make your own packet ?...
Thanks |

Hi RepDetect,
Great to have you here.

Oh yes please!
Of course, this means I've wasted hours trying to reconstruct the artwork from blurred photos, but so what!
Which type of Boyards do you have? |

I was gonna offer to send a canadian pack of cigerretts to somebody for the slider template but if somebody has the original then .....cant wait to see these paper props made ,I just picked up a chicken /bryant ashtray and with the new matches coming ...they are coming arn't they ?,then the cigarette pack is necessary....
I have 1 extra ashtray ( says some kinda fish place new jersey on the bottom, but as somebody said ya cant see the bottom on the screen used one anyway) if somebody wants to trade something simple for it ....somebody with a Boyards pack ...lol _________________ I've seen things ....you people appear to be intrested in ... |
