Damn I am going to have to buy this one as well.
This is Fil (Hi Karl!) from Rome, Italy. Yep, that ol'd BlasterManiac over at the RPF, eons ago
Still in love with Blade Runner. Just bought the Final Cut last night (iTunes) and got the latest Tomenosuke PRO model.
Every time I see Karl's blasters (Phase Pistol) I go and click buy now.
Warm regards from the same ol' movie weapons fan yours,
Fil |

Thank you for the warm welcome Andy and Karl
Andy, (un)fortunately, I've been in the obsession since circa 1977.
I.e., the idea of prop collecting came right after seeing the original Star Wars.
I was hooked into props since then (I still remember).
Will be posting a few pics (appropriate Blade Runner) shortly.
Glad to be here,
Fil! |

Gorgeous.
Before I buy that one though, I'd like one more PRO.
Where should I get it a the right price? eBay (where I just got one) has it quite high. |

Hawt damn!
That is one sweet-looking variant of such an awesome prop. I'm kinda new to the forums here (just joined yesterday), so this is the first I've heard of it.
I can't believe how slick the all-black colour scheme makes it. Although, from the newer pics posted in the last link Andy provided, it appears as though maybe the upper receiver is now being done in a dark pewter.
For as long as I've loved BR and the PKD, I'm still a bit of a newb when it comes to the detailing of this particular piece, so I could be mistaken. That's what I'm seeing, anyway.
EDIT: Nice to see a familiar face around here. Hey, Karl _________________ My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world. -- Jack Layton, 1950-2011 |

|

Hello All -
I'm new to the Summit, but a long-time collector, having purchased my first replica - an old resin battery-powered model - at a Trek convention in the late 80's.
As always, I've been following these new contributions, but finding this thread, jumped over to Tomenosuke to check out their latest pics.
In addition to this all-black Special PRO, TS appears to be offering it in the smaller 1/6th scale.
Any insights?

Photos added to the first post, but here they are again too!
Once again my humble thanks to the Tomenosuke Team!
Presenting... Tomenosuke PRO, "Police Model".
The dark gray plastic gun is a casting off of the screenused "police blaster", so you can see that the Tomenosuke version represents what the gun would have been if it had been a "hero" version of the police gun.
Alongside the original Tomenosuke/Marushin PRO.
Aside from the black grips and the no-notch buttplate, perhaps the biggest difference between Deckard's blaster and the police version, is the total lack of LEDs on the police gun. The ammo clip is the original unmodified Steyr part.
The Police Model inside the beautiful custom holster. Holster not included with the PRO!
International buyers should contact Mune at this email

To me, it would have been just that much sweeter if they would have left the 5223 off the receiver. It has become synonymous with Deckard's iconic movie blaster - maybe not so much with the 'standard' police model, no? |

Sensational pics Karl mate..!
I have to agree with your comment Bwood, I feel the same. I do recognise though that the SA guys would beg to differ…
Regards

Great pics!
Karl hand is the second most famous to ever hold the Blade Runner Blaster. I think ever new version of this Blaster must be officially held by Karl as a blessing. |
