It looks to me as if it could be the same script, but written with thicker strokes.

The two "horns" above the smiley face on the right seem to be connected at the top in the image on the right. They may be connected in the image on the left, too, but by a thinner or more tapered brushstroke.

Thanks, Pilot!

You're welcome !
Here is another one... I know, the details on the bottle are fuzzy, but it's better than nothing !

The script on that bottle looks different and it looks like there is some smaller rows beneath it.

You're right, Andy.
If you look closely at all the Tsing Tao photos that were posted here, you'll notice that the labels are pretty different on each bottle... that leads me to think that the labels were probably directly hand-written on each de Czar. (it would explain the nonsensic meaning of the words : The person in charge of this did his/her best to write something that looked like Arabic, nothing more)

There's a lot of great work here, I should have kicked this off sooner!

Is anyone going to take a crack at the neck symbols?

I did this in 3 minutes on one of my mini de Czar, using a permanent marker... It's pretty rough, I agree... but it makes me think more than ever that the labels were hand-written on the screen-used ones...

See by yourself...

A friendly bump to see whether anyone has anything new to report on this.

It seems to me (could be wrong here, because I don't have access to high-def pictures) that the text on the neck is the same design(albeit smaller and all around it)you'll find on the main body of the said bottle.
There's also some kind of text on the paper seal that goes over the cap...very difficult to see.

Here's the paper seal I intend to use on my DeCzar:

Of course they will be neon orange instead of the blue.

Cool, OB.

Are you going to alter the text at all?

Probably not as we discovered for the BR Whiskey Labels that they were just old labels from the 50's...I think we can get away with not altering the tax label (other than color)

Time to resurect this ooooooold thread...

Thanks to Paul E. Smith and his friend Ross Rudin who helped me with the cap seal, I was finaly able to complete my recreation of the TSIN(G)-TAO bottle ! (one of the two displayed in a scene at the WHITE DRAGON, for more info look at the pics in this thread, they helped me a lot in the making of that prop)

I'm rather happy with the result, must admit !

See by yourself :

What do you think, guys ?

Thank you mates for the kind words, glad to see you like it !

JB, this was never intended to be the yellow liquid bottle, rather the clear liquid / "vodka bottle" as I call it ! (and it's aleardy filled with vodka on these photos)

The interesting thing I discovered during the making of this prop is that the labels were probably made using illustration masking film... When ink starts to dry on that kind of surface, it tends to retract a little, allowing you to have these very thin lines here and there (look at the signs on neck) like on the screenused bottles...

Man, there's a lot of alcohol in this movie ...kidding aside, I remember using that illustration masking film but it never shrank like yours; what's the brand you used?
