Odd...I was able to get in imediately. Though I did that a ling time ago and things have changed with leadership and all. It sounds like the problems i am having with the RPF though. I applied when they were opened up this week and still haven't heard back yet myself.

Andy,

For the RPF, you might consider registering for a free AOL email account. I am pretty sure they are not blocking the domain aol.com as many people still hold it as there ISP.

Let me know how you make out. If not, I am sure we can figure something out for you, or Jedirick might be able to help you out.

I am trying to get my roomate to get me an email address under his account here. He doesn't even use his. I may try the AOL thing since I already have one. Silly since I have never had an ISP email for more than a year but have had my hotmail address for over 7 years(maybe 10)

I completely understand Andy. I never use my ISP email because it quite simply sucks I prefer Gmail.

Anyway, I think they are doing this to try and keep out some of the spammers, banned people from opening sockpuppets, and I guess anyone else that once a second account.

I cannot say I agree with it, then again, it is their forum so I dont have much say over it...lol

Try talking to Jedirick if all else fails.

Jedirick came to me to help me out, I thank him very much for it. His advice is to get the RR email...they are not letting in AOL anymore either because of the free email.

Wow! That is shocking since so many people use AOL as their ISP and have to pay for it.

Eitherway, it is very cool of Jedirick to help you out

See you at the RPF!

Andy,

That is pretty much what he told me within an email. That I got pulled in with the spammers.

Make sure you include a message that shows you aren't a spammer or even Email the forum manager directly, because he has been known to ignore anyone he thinks is spam. Even Tom(amish) was denied for a while.
