I recently purchased an Offworld M2019 "Hero" Blaster on E-Bay... received it and love the look and feel...however I am unable to lower the housing assembly for the led's...I am reluctant to FORCE the assembly down for fear of breaking it...contacted Offworld Mfg. and they offered no help...has anyone else experienced this and if so how can I lower this assembly to make the led's function without damaging the prop....

You don't remove the entire assembly, just the magazine that houses the LED's inside the assembly. The hook is in the front of the mag with the led's,so you have to grip it near the rear, and pull straight down. Should pop out of the housing.

...many thanks....sadly the led assembly is lodged in so tight that I really feel I could damage it by forcing it more.....I can live with the pain....again thanks for the quick help.....by the way is your Blaster repainted or is that an Offworld supplied pix?.....

its just a small socket head cap screw crudely jammed in a bored out channel... It WILL move! I had the same issue with mine- it took me a month and some JWB to gain the courage to pull it out and after seeing it with the lights on I felt stupid for being reluctant. I've since stripped and repainted the whole thing! its a great entry level blaster!

Go ahead, give it a try...

Yep, you just have to tug it out. It isn't resin and won't break easily. Just make sure you pull it from the back more than the front.

Had the EXACT same experience witrh the EXACT same blaster, Bassnoir.
Unlike you, however, I didn't take the time to question whether it would have broken the chamber (maybe I SHOULD have been more cautious... after all, I suppose it COULD have gone the "other way"), instead I just gently increased the amount of force I was using while pressing against that hook that Noeland mentioned... suddenly "POP!" Out it came!
Very Happy
You never updated this thread... I'm curious...DID you get it out after all?

....(embarrassed)....no I have not....I am not the strongest guy on the planet...and damn sure not the weakest....cannot bring myself to exert any more pressure on that piece....having looked at other pics of the "Offworld" I understand the physics of it...but damn it's STILL plastic.....maybe someday......(smiling)

The plastic is pretty tough. It's not like resin.

to quote the great Etta James..."at last....."...
...FINALLY....I decided to give it one more try....following the instructions I had been given by the Forum....I secured the blaster and steadily pulled the housing down from the rear....felt it slowly moving and ultimately poped out WITHOUT damage...the housing really is a sturdy little piece of plastic....flipped the switch and those lovely led's brightened the room.....FINALLY....
