Well not 2 bad, about 2 weeks in and were at 9 kits. I will be honest. at 678 members I figured the number might be alittle higher. I know that alot of you are waiting to see what these raw parts look like. So you will know what work is going to be involved. Hopefully Rich will be able to post us some pics soon.

I am tooling up for fresh molds with the final improvments, I just renumbered the Bulldog frame with the corrected numbers found under the clear amber grip.

I hope to recreate the importing stamps from real oringinal marks and inhance the the oringinal marks on the Styer.

I plan on trimmimg off all flash and pour points on these kits.

As all parts I have on hand have been worked on I can not take pictures of them, so will have to wait for new castings.

Once they are ready I will pop some pictures of them here.

To make life a little easier I have always place dipples as starting points for drilling, these parts already have these marks.

Also we talked about it and I will add this offer:

For those that feel they can not do the drilling and tapping and do not have a belt sander, I will do all that and prep the model and prefit it so finishing will be all that is left...

This delux version will cost $800.00.

Rich

Sounds good! Rich, let me know if you need the graphics sheet to send to the die makers. I can adjust the sizes of the markings too.

Another thing is are you planning on correcting the serial on the bulldog frame? If so you might want to check this out if you havent spotted it already: http://propsummit.com/viewtopic.php?t=1153&start=20

The number seems to have a 3 at the end that is barely visable in most shots. So it's 6 0 8 4 8 3

also, will the grip handle have the big hole at the back? this was a bit of a nightmare to drill out Rolling Eyes

I am glad that we have gone over ten requests.

Please send me a email so I can have your contact info in a email folder and please include you propsummit ID or handle.

My outlook uses you email display name and for a lot of us that is our real names so I can get lost on whos who.

Thanks everyone.

Rich

Well with just over 40 days left before the cut off on this deal Im hoping numbers will double. I think some more people will come out and sign up when some pictures are posted. Im also pretty sure that almost all of the prep work can be done with a good dremel tool and a few attachments and bits. So the worry of not having a garage full of equipment isnt an issue. But im sure it wouldnt hurt if you did.

I am concerned that putting a dead line on this and having it around December will be causing a hardship.

One of the main reasons I am doing this kit run here is as so many find my built models hard to afford..so having a dead line right around the holidays seems harsh.

That was not my intention.

So lets open up the dead line.

How many want the kit right away??

And how many want it after December?? If so: When??

And how many were not ordering due to being too close to the Holidays??

Rich

Per the first post.

UPDATE 11/10/09!!!!!!!!

0% Down payment, Just get your name on the list for the run.
DECEMBER 31st. will be the cut off date of this special edition
Payment will be due at time of shipping when kits are ready to ship out.
(I'm sure the larger the amount of kits the longer it will take to produce the parts) I'm gonna say shipments should be ready some time in Feb. That gives everyone time to get the funds and Rich 30 days to get the parts rolling in after the cut off date. This was Rich's idea! Knowing that Christmas is going to be tight for everyone this year, He didn't want anyone to be out on this deal, having to come up with cash this close to Christmas. Thanks again Rich!

Remember people NO MONEY UP FRONT. Just get your name on the list.

That is correct, the idea is to sign up by December 31, then I will do the run(s) and ship the kits though the following months.

As we have gone over 10, I will have a Plaque made with the Propsummit Special Kit on it, and we will number the plaques.

I will also offer at extra cost ($35.00 + postage) The Display Stands for thoes that want one.

Rich

If I have a choice I would take the kit before the end of the holiday season or at least early in January. But no matter when it is ready I am just happy that I could be part of this deal.
