Well I know the cast parts are a high grade pewter. You can read alot of the old threads stating that the metal Rich uses is harder than what was used in the Sidkits. Rich barrel is now steel. Im not sure what the handle filler plate is made of or the sight rod? Rich will need to chime in on this. And of course the grip handles are resin as is the ammo clip and housing.

All pewter but for springs, screws, grips, ammo housing and clip.

Sight rod is pewter cast hollow to allow for wiring the LEDs.

btw, is the receiver a final casting or prototype? I noticed the numer 3 in the serial is different to the WC.

OOPs that was a test of a number punch and yes it is wrong...

And this was a test to see if anyone would catch it... NOT... Rolling Eyes

Which is why it was undilled.

I forgot that needed changed...

I wanted to show what a undrilled casting will look like.

The numbers will be right.

Much better. Though my only concern with this one is numbers look a little wonky compared to the first pic. Not sure if thats a trick of the lighting or anything. Then again if this isn't the final receiver just ignor all that Wink
