I picked up my old Deckard head project from a while ago, this time re-sculpting the head and giving him a body

Also made a detailed model of the hero blaster based on karls photos and tomenosuke references

the bulldog frame, bullet chamber and firing mechanism are all there, just well hidden! Wink

I might look into converting him for the farcry engine. would be cool to see him run around that game level those guys made Cool

Incredible! Shocked What software do you use?

Have you considered getting your work output in 3D somehow?

cheers guys!

Mike: deckard was mostly made in zbrush and the gun in maya. I might eventualy get the head and shoes printed in 3d for my custom deckard doll.

next step is to texture, though I'm working on other stuff so will put these on the shelf for now. watch this space Smile

Haha - you've got to give it some time Gaff' Wink

Pixologic has some decent getting started video tutorials on their website:

And there's tons of resources to be found at zBrushCentral: http://www.zbrushcentral.com

Hehe....I might try it again in the future.
I seem to give up too easily on these things.

thanks jason, fred, joan, neil Smile

I'm working on some non-related BR models for the time being, though once these are done I will get back to Deck and his gun for texturing and rendering.

WOW!!! that is truely amazing work Very Happy Thanks for posting it for everyone to enjoy Now, at last, I finally know for certain that Deckard is indeed a Replicant!!! Very Happy Probably a prototype or early pre-production model Nexus 7. That means that (1) He and I share the same genetic inheritance (2) You must work for the Tyrell Corperation, and (3) In that case, I have some "Questions" I need answers to!!! Laughing

Have a better one,

Mike.

Nexus 7: I used to work for the Tyrell Corp, though now I'm freelance Wink

quick update: I modified and textured the head last night. here's a realtime screen capture. this isn't a proper render or anything.
