Funny how a line can be read two ways...
As in: I finally got to hold one one of the Tomenosuke Pros today,
I too read it as in: I finally got a hold one one of the Tomenosuke Pros today,
Not as I finally got TO HOLD one one of the Tomenosuke Pros today,
Sorry Andy, now if you ever got TO HOLD one of mine with a real Bulldog inside...you would really go off the deep end...(I think so any way...)
To know your holding a working firing real gun/prop...it really does add all that more to the model.

On a related topic, I finally got to hold one one of the Tomenosuke Pros today, and I am thoroughly impressed. It really does feel like a real gun, and they also chose the path of making a more idealistic gun rather than a prop replica, which adds to it's in hand impressiveness. Though that makes it more of a toy in a sense, it has the feel of what the gun was supposed to represent, but still retained all the quirks of the real prop. Someday maybe I will have one.

Looks like I repeated a word. Probably why it came accross the wrong way.

I read it as "I finally got a hold of one of" in my brain.
Admittedly, I only read it once too.
Rich, never one to waste an opportunity to plug your product! Nicely done.

Thanks Noeland...(Nice backhanded complement)
Can't blame me for trying and I am still making mine, even with all the others are gone, but they did did cut deeply into my lively hood.
And all of them used my work and one of my models to help them do so.
And there really is something about the feel of the real Bulldog in one of my models that does feel special.

It was absolutely a compliment and not meant as backhanded. I'm quite often impressed with your tenacity.
I can't sell. I'm just plain rotten at it. I don't have that skill at all.
But, lets not stray off topic. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

Thanks for clearing that up, I took it in good nature but did fear it was more a knock than praise...
We now return you to the original thread, all ready in progress...

So over the finished product, I'm really excited.
As I understand, a Weathering is warranted, similar to what I have done with my Tome. Probably just perfect. _________________ "...ist sie teuer?" "Außerordentlich!" |
