OH and second note, buildup service, you can have either I or propsjonnyb build your model for you, now or later...for a extra charge of course...

I have already had a few of the kits sent back for building service.

Rich

Hi Rich, payment for my kit sent. Will pay propsjonnyb for combined shipping as soon as he notifies me.

All the best, Rupe.

Rich has asked me to post a bit of information about shipping and duty costs, on the kits etc ., so here goes - this is taken directly from a mail to Rich about consolidating shipping .

"Shipping a consignment to me in UK does mean only one duty payment per shipment, as I can then re ship within EU countries without paying any additional duty, since I only pay 17.5% duty here (UK) , in some countries it goes up to 22%, so there is a saving involved. Depending on numbers, I would devide the duty up between orders and ask teh individual customers to pay postage plus the shared duty, I'd estimate the saving to be about 5% on average as internal (EU) postage is a lot less that freight shipping direct from USA ."

This could mean a slight delay as Rich would wait on sending the shipment , but as he send it tracked and traced , I can pre warn UK customs and fast track it through on average 10 working days from door to door .

I also am offering a kit building service for any UK or European customers to Rich's museum quality finish, in with my build I also electroplate all the pewter parts and parkerize (professional Gunsmith's Blueing) to give the most accurate finish to the kits, there are many examples pictured throughout this forum. PM me for details.

Hi propsjonnyb, no worries it makes sense to pay the duty on all the kits together. I've got quite used to paying duty at Parcelforce in Brum over the years it'll be nice to actually save a bit of money for a change. Very Happy

Cheers Rupe.

sounds good to me. I would be able to avoid customs in France but only with a simple, under declared USPS parcel, but I won't take that chance on that kind of props. Thanks again to propsjonnyb for his re shipping service.

All parts are cast, I just need to do some of the clean up I do as my part like machine the Cylinders.

Should start shipping by the end of this week.

We break the models into two packages and list them as parts...

So it takes two shippments to get all of them in and then John puts them bak together and forwards them.

Hey, I'm fairly new here but I've been looking around here for a while trying to decide which blaster to buy.

I almost convinced myself to buy an offworld one but the more I looked at your ones the more it put me off them. So I finally plucked up the courage to spend a little extra cash and get one of these. From what I've read though it looks like you've sold all the ones in this run and I live in England as well so I was wondering when you might do the next lot and what the shipping would be like if there wasn't anyone else in the UK interested in buying one . Thanks.

I am getting ready to do another run soon.

And I have a friend in the UK that handles things.

Hopefully we will have a few orders going to England and or Europe, so shipping is then a shared cost.
