IIRC the "box set" is coming out in the fall. I think it was some kind of HD also, but not %100 what brand. I just remember hearing it shortly before last year's re-issue so I skipped that one in favor of the up-and-coming one. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! Box set due out in the fall. As of right now there is NO HD version slated for release... if you're looking for one you can find the 1080i transfer out there on the net pretty easily.
Multiple disks in this set... nothing set in stone but as of right now it's in the 4-5 disks range with the amount of additional material that is being included. We'll see how much actually goes in at the end though.
Unfortunately I can't say any more as I don't want to get anyone in trouble.... |

So can anyone recommend a good place to pre-order it?
After spending a number of frustrated months looking for the original release on DVD, I finally broke down and bought an old VHS copy and had it transfered to disc. |

Holy cow!
That sounds amazing. . .
I wonder if that will be the final set that's released. If so, it'll be a "must-buy, kill or be killed, be there the moment the store opens" for me!! _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing. . . |

Don't get your hopes up, Tom. This was taken from the first link:
Quote: | Attention International Customers
Due to size constraints on international shipping, we are regrettably unable to fulfill overseas orders for this item. |
You'd have to find an Aussie retailer willing to ship Internationally (or know an Aussie that woudl buy and ship it for you). Too bad, too, because that is an amazing set. _________________ Pete |

A bunch of weird stuff has been going on at BladeZone too. The main thread at the forum got pulled and then it showed up on the front page with a link to joblo.com, but then that got pulled too. I know Gary W. was involved with the disc, so he may have just decided to have it pulled on his own to protect his confidentiality agreement with WB. It could also meant that the official news is imminent and they are waiting to get all the pieces together first. You all know how those marketing people are about timetables and all. I am taking this all as good news. The crazy thing is if you blink, you will miss some of it. |

Man, it could come in a moldy cardboard box as long as it has all of those discs in it. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! You know; a headache with pictures? |
