...hmmm....I've been putting one of these together for sale as well. What is the process, formal/informal or both, if two people are planning to offer a similar item on the forum? I'm new, and certainly don't want to step on toes or offend anyone.

Dave.

Oh Joberg. Rolling Eyes Wink

Gomcse, we have several competing blasters on here, and to me I want to own every one. Each seem to have their own qualities to them. As long as someone isn't using another's work to cast from without permission it can be kosher. Still it might be nice to give this run a chance to sell a few before jumping in to give it a chance to recoup costs, time and a bit more. I am very curious to see your work though.

Agreed. I'll hold off for a while...unless this goes the way of the Deckard wallet project (a year in the waiting).

Oh I know, I know Andy Wink ...I was just speaking for myself of course; the same prop/run can be offered to our members, some with a different quality/finish than the other, but in the end we're voting with our wallet. I would've welcomed the competition if I had proposed the V.K. prop at a certain price and Birdie or Kaibur(who also tackled the same prop at about the same time)had a similar product for another price.

It's still cookin'. As with most projects, life interrupts and things take longer than anticipated. Things are progressing, and with the Holidays now behind us, I hope to have news soon.

I am refining the details on the master and should begin my casting process by early next month (if not before).

As always work takes priority. Thanks for your continued interest and your patience. I will start a interest thread in THE PROP SHOP shortly.

Again, my thanks. - R13

Having waited months for others' offerings here, I can better appreciate the time it takes to complete these projects, as well as the patience of those who have shown interest.
Thanks. - R13

Thanks for the update. I hope I didn't come across as impatient. Not having the skills to complete an artwork like this myself, I'm more than happy to wait for a good thing.

I really appreciate you taking the time to make something impossible to find elsewhere available to us here in this community.

Many thanks.

..right there with you Panaflex...this "hobby" (read obsession) would be far less interesting without the likes of Richard Coyle Rick Ross...to name just a few...like you I have zero talent and am ever so thankful for the aforementioned Artists efforts...

Thought I'd bring this back to the top. Hope this project comes to light one day. Such a great idea. Just checking in...

Panaflex, et al -

Thanks for the interest.

No. The Duck just went south for (last) Winter and took an extended vacation (i.e. -Life, work and other immediate distractions got in the way). Plan to get back into it in the coming weeks . . .
