I posted this earlier, responding to another thread elsewhere on PS, but didn't see it here, so I thought it was worth mentioning, to those focused more on blasters who might have missed it.

THE FUJIMI MINIATURE BLASTER
If you know of this, there's no reason to read further. With the first release of FUJIMI's kit of Deckard's sedan a miniature blaster (apparently based on the WorldCon version) is included with the model kit.

Unlike the kit itself, the blaster is fully assembled and painted - ready to display. Of note: It is a static model, but scaled larger that the miniatures released earlier by Tomenosuke and other Japanese companies, i.e. larger than 1/6th, approaching 1/4 scale.

SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN ACTUAL SIZE

Hey Karl! Another fan of your efforts!

Already contacted Mune about the latest Tomenosuke - awaiting its release.

At mid-September, any further inside info?

That is more impressive than I expected them to be. Kind of wish I had sent for one now. I think they were limited to the first kits and only the Deckard Sedan version.

Andy, et al -

Hobby Link has the kits, with blaster in stock right now. I don't know just how "limited" the first run is. Monsters In Motion had some as well. You just havta balance shipping with the differing costs.

I loaned mine to my 1/6 android hunter. Pretty intimidating, but he seemed happy about it . . . .

You can order it through Hobby Link at -

http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ09135

or Monsters In Motion at -

http://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/tv-movie-item-list-a-e-c-2_200/blade-runner-1-24-deckard-sedanpkd-blaster-p-17244

It is a bonus added to the model kit.
