Joberg,
Holy Cow!
I'll say it again...

Holy cow!
This is amazing. That's it. That's the VK! Let me ask you a question,
...about ...your mother.

Well take a bow. Masterful job.

Thanks for the thanks but my pix were a bit late on THIS build.

Tom was a bit late to the party but he did finally arrive and feels very welcome by all you guys.

You are all very welcome ... so let's get the focus bact on joberg and that great VK build. So nicely done. Mike Fink would be impressed.

Thanks Tom, but you were not that late since I used some of your details into the build Wink ...it's true that I wish Mike Fink could see it also and offer other details I've missed (and tricks of the trade).

Thank you Beast, yes it feels good to have that prop at that level of accuracy.
I'm eager also to see what Colin is going to do with his V.K. project; it'll be fun I'm sure!

joberg,
I did notice that you changed the VK logo on the front to match my logo.

Your care and detail are remarkable.

Thanks Retrogarde...I'm noticing your name for the first time on the board, so if I didn't say welcome officially, well this it: welcome aboard Retrogarde and also a bonjour to Maine, one of the most bilingual State of the Union (English/French) Wink

As an add-on, don't forget to check the V.K. case project's post; still trying to build the case seen in the movie.

Thanks for the welcome! Maine does indeed have a proud French heritage, but the language gets pretty rough treatment at the same time. The town of 'Calais' is pronounced as though it rhymed with malice for example.

I hear you retrogarde...as a French teacher to Anglophone speakers I know that the phonetic can be a difficult thing to imitate (on both sides).
Just that with the French Canadian immigration from Quebec and New-Brunswick I was amazed at how prevalent French is in your state

Joberg... Yes.... I have a new Rick Ross PKD-1 BRunner Blaster. I started building it in 2009, but have a long way to go and have not worked on it for three years. Rolling Eyes
It has heaps of lead embedded into the body and handle plus strengthened the handle/body with embedded steel rods. It will have heaps of metal parts from Coyle / Mspaw / Andy / Offworld plus other machined metal part mods to be added. I have all the extra parts to do this in hand. Just need to restart this project.
This gun will weigh a cool 3.0 pounds when completed. Cool
(An original Rich Ross PKD-1 resin blaster without mods weighs 1.1 pounds finished.)
