I never noticed before, but just before Brett is introduced to the Alien, you get to see it first.
Go back and watch the scene where Brett takes his cap off allowing the condensation to drip onto his face and head...before he puts his cap back on, you see the Alien hanging from the chains and swinging back and forth.
This may be old news to some, but I never saw it there before now :-]

You're right and wrong, it has been added in the special extended edition that was first released in theaters in 2003 (iirc) then in DVD...

Yeah, I had a feeling that might have been it, but I should have seen it a long time ago, age seems to play funny tricks with eyesight at times :-] |

I found that any changes I made, took effect in future posts only, they didn't have any kind of retroactive effect.
