|
|
Guys,
Has anyone got a Terminator endo skull they want to sell?
I need one fast as visual reference for a project. It can be an unfinished resin casting, or a commercial bust, whatever.
Needs to be 1:1, full size.
be nice if it was in the UK/Europe and fairly cheap
But, anything considered.
Thanks,
Karl

Thanks Joberg,
I'm looking in all sorts of places for this, including Ebay UK.
Just thought someone here might have a resin kit laying around, you know...
Cheers,

I think there's a run on at RPF at the moment. Certainly, I would be looking there because they crop up fairly often.
Best of luck

Thanks Mark,
I'm not a member there, so can't access the Junkyard.
Thanks for the thought, though.

I'm not sure what you're planning to do with yours but I picked up a very cheap Terminator endoskull from the 'bay last year. While not really SA, most of the detail was pretty clean but the overall cast was slightly warped, the bottom jaw was broken in half (and re-glued together) and it was missing both the eye pieces - ALL of which I knew about - hence the price.
I wanted a relic I could put with my screen used Polaroid of Sarah Conner and I always thought of acquiring a Sideshow endoskull but I knew I was just going to trash it to make it look old, so instead of screwing up a $800.00 model this seemed to present the perfect solution...
I liked the idea of a war-damaged skull with a missing/damaged eye, which made my life a little easier because this meant I only needed to scratch-build one of the missing eyes instead of two. I left off the snapped lower jaw on purpose..
Primed with black and painted using aluminium silver, overworked with matt black in the region of the damaged eye and top of the head. I used Rub 'n Buff Silver Leaf and applied crushed graphite to the burnt and damaged pieces. The chips and flaking were painted by hand.
Hope this is of some interest mate..
Warm regards

Mark,
That's the kind of thing I'm after, sure enough.
Is it full size 1:1?
Also, do you still have the jaw parts? Not bothered about the eye/s as I'll be making new ones.
Certainly interested.
Cheers,

Yes it is full size Karl. I wanted it to go with my Polaroid so it was important it was correct. Unfortunately, I don't have the left over parts any longer - my apologies.
I'm not sure where you'll find one but I'll keep an eye open on your behalf. If I see another thread on the RPF I will let you know the details..
Best of luck.
