Someone sent me one of my Blade Runner Blasters for repairs from CA.

They forgot to either email me before sending nor have they contacted me about it after it came in two weeks ago.

They also forgot to include ANY real contact information.

I have searched all my email records for anyone living where this came from and found no one.

IF you're the person that sent this model to me for repairs please contact me and tell me what part was broken.

Otherwise I am going to consider it a gift.

I have had three such offers, thing is I have not been able to keep one of this model run so IF the real owner does not come forth I will gladly make the repairs and restore it to its former condition and add it to my archives.

I feel I have to make every effort to find the owner if possible.

So I have posted this on the sites I can.

I did as much back tracking I could. The name on the box does not match ANY name in my email records, (and I have them back for many years…) nor the city it came from. It seems to be a reused box, I found a old ship to label under the one to me.

I then called the shipping company deport it came from and the lady there kept saying it was a returned idem, one found in their shop and thus sent back to the shipper (me)!!???

BUT it was not in one of my boxes and came back, model only with no stand and no paper work.

Like I have said it is a real mystery.

Rich

I don't think so...

ONE It did not come back in one of my shipping boxes and TWO it did not come back with any paper work or the display stand.

And it did not have customs labels on it. And it did not say return to sender...that was from the lady I talked to at the place it was shipped from.

It came from California. Some of us do consider it as a another country or even another planet but the post office just considers it one of our states.

Last it is a few years old.

Maybe a lost item (Post Office?) Returned to you years later with a different packaging.
I have an idea: let's make a contest with the gun as a price Wink

That seemed what the lady I talked with said, but she was at a mail service not a post office and the package was addressed to me with the office as the return address and it had someone else as the original addressee but that person has never done any business with me...

As for a contest...sorry as fate will have it I missed keeping one of these models due to two facts one I was very back ordered and felt everyone was due their model so I held none back and Two I was in dire need of funds, running so late due to health problems.

So if I cannot find who sent it I will be very happy the have a copy of that model to put into my actives.

One other model I never was able to keep for my self was the Early All Metal model with sound effects, although I do have 95% of the parts to finish one some day.
