You just kicked our collective asses Rick.

For lack of a better way to say it, it looks (to my eyes) like you "anime-d" the snubby out. I just get a huge anime design vibe (which is way beyond cool) and if it's possible you can actually see the story telling in the weapon design. You can't say that too often.

I love it man. Just friggin love it. All the grips are bad ass, and the modified grip frame really brings the style out of her. And the front end makes it look likea cannon. A blade runner "blunderbuss" (which isn't my favorite word in the dictionary, but you get the idea) that looks like it could take down a squad of spinners!

I'm inspired. Flat out amazing Rick. This is why we all love your work!! You're a true original.

Almost forgot: I dig the green laser sight!!

Well said and welcome back! Please, oh please produce these and make me the happiest little girl in the world (I say this because I just let out a little squeal of delight when I saw the pics) Shocked Shocked Shocked

Just so you know I am actually moving on this project again, here is a preview of the modifications and tweaks I have made to Zhora's Laser Scope. I want to make similar mods to a few other element to the design before I actually start making these new parts, but this will finally be a reality soon.

A note about the new scope design. The kit will come with resin parts for the scope as you see it here. The scope housing/mount will be cast in such a way that, if you wish to add your own scope to the piece, you will be able to do so.

The new scope design will also be rotated higher atop the gun for a more balanced look.

These are Rhino images, but I will begin soon constructing the newly modified parts to add to the already finished ones.

Thank you for your continued patience with this project.

Rick

Excellent work! So clean. As much as I like the used look of BR in general, I'm beginning to think one might look really cool just built as a pristine, all-white prototype, as well.

Just a small update:

As it turns out, I have decided to 3D print several component pieces, primarily the receiver and barrel assembly. I still have a few more parts to model in Rhino, but I am making good progress. The suppressor and scope assemblies have been machined already, and although I have modeled the barrel for printing, I have decide that it would look better cast from a machined part, rather than a printed one. So I machined it as well. The receiver and main frame will be printed. The gun is being designed as a kit with screw heads deleted. My intention is provide real screws for enhanced detail. Hope to have more to show soon.

Rick
