Actually, I just found a better "match" (Ebay) :
Will tell you when it arrives (Thailand Post)
Compare to the "original" :
Note that the other Ebay one was referred as "Hintha Bird" (sometimes you see "Hamsa") ; and "mine" as a "Brahmani Duck". There are many different animals shaped as "opium weights" when you google it. (actually they were just normal "weights", not sure who introduced the "exclusive for opium" notion) |

Thank you guys... this duck seems not bad. maybe a bit dirty and less "shiny" than others. again, I still have to get it.
The one in this thread http://www.bladerunnerprops.com/viewtopic.php?t=4475 was pretty good too. (missed it). maybe the eyes are weird, though. (not totally semi-spherical and they seem to have a "stem" between the "eye" and the head itself)
It looks like all those weights are unique pieces (never the same mold ?). When I compare a "challenger" to the "hero" duck, some things are always good, but unfortunately some other details are wrong. heh. |

So, here it is :
It's a 160g weight, ~ 5.5 cm height.
I tried to deduce the height of the duck seen in the movie, by comparing it to Rachael's hand and the photo she's holding. |
