Hey, all!

I just came across these at Hobby Link Japan, among their future releases.

A set of the Aries shuttle and the EVA pod, each circa 45 mm in diameter:

Likewise, HLJ will be offering a set of the Orion spaceplane and the Moon Bus

These are the data from their website:
Orion: approximately 14.5cm long; moonbus: approximately 8.7cm long

Cheers!

TFS with us...the Aries-1B looks a little off IMO ( the top part). The other ones are fine. Wink

They're described as 4.5cm in diameter which is under two inches. Amazing detail for as small as they are, but it raises the question with me - how small is too small?

Good question.
Though I admit, the small scale Aries 1B tempts me to try my hands at a Clavius underground landing facility that wouldn't become too massive.

What a great idea. Best of luck to you - it will be an ambitious project given the level of detail involved.

Yep, at that scale (30 inches in size) that Clavius set was HUGE...as well as the amount of details!!!

For that small size Aries-1B the work will have to be done with tweezer and a magnifying glass

Well, yes... Maybe I'm being a tad too optimistic. If this goes anywhere, I'll post it here.
